I'm Home!!!

Kiowa Bel came home with us almost a week ago and has adjusted wonderfully. She loves doing random laps around the backyard and running with me through our little neighborhood. (I've gotten her up to almost a mile early in the morning - I think she'd keep going but I'm taking it easy on her.)

The kids absolutely love our new addition and our 8 yr old is the official 'feeder.' He is very precise with measuring her 2 cups in the morning and night. The funniest thing was when we brought her home last Saturday and she saw her refletion in the mirror...she hopped and jumped and just couldn't figure out where that other dog was. So funny!!

We are so happy to have her and love her sweet, laid back disposition, though she shows her spunkiness plenty!

Hallo from the kennel here.  Today my color is PINK.  I am such a beautiful dog, just waiting for my right person.  I have my muzzle on because I apparently ate some twigs and a bit o my mat.  I just thought it would be a little extra fiber!

What a striking girl Hallo Kiowa is. She is a great dog...laid back, good on leash...very nice temperment. "She's a beauty...one in a million girl".

She looks like a Beautiful Bambi!

I was mesmerized by this hound from the minute I saw her...she looks exactly like a beautiful fawn, just like Bambi! She is truly the most breathtakingly beautiful girl I have ever seen. It will be love at first sight when you lay eyes on her! She is calm and gentle, she has that very "ladylike" disposition. She lays in her run with her legs outstrethched and crossed! She is very easy to walk on a leash as well. This beauty will make someone have a beautiful life with her!

Sunday night walks

Hallo has a sweet personality. She seems like a confident girl, grazing in the grass in the run and stopping by for the occasional ear scratch. She is a very laid back, easy going girl. She is delightful to be around!
